SolvingPain — A Project By Ontario's Anesthesiologists

Welcome!

Thank you for taking to the time to visit the Perioperative Pain Management Pathway, a project by Ontario’s Anesthesiologists.

As experts in pain management, we felt that creating this living repository of evidence-based, perioperative pain management best practices was a natural project for our Section to undertake. We believe that this site will help empower Canadian healthcare professionals to make high quality pain management decisions, resulting in better patient experiences and outcomes while simultaneously reducing the number of unnecessary opioids in the community.

Please note that this site is very much a work-in-progress and that we have ambitious plans for it. The Perioperative Pain Management Pathway is also the first phase of our broader SolvingPain initiative, which will eventually tackle better management of chronic pain as well as other forms of acute pain. To learn more about this site and the broader SolvingPain project, please visit our About page.

We hope that you find this website simple, easy-to-use and most importantly, helpful. If you are a Canadian healthcare professional, we would love your support in spreading the word about SolvingPain.ca. If possible, please share our URL, SolvingPain.ca, with your colleagues. We would also love to hear your feedback about this project.
