SolvingPain’s First Six Months

As we wrap up 2021, we also wrap up the first six months of SolvingPain and the Perioperative Pain Management Pathway. Since launching in mid-June, SolvingPain.ca has been seen over 4,000 unique visitors who explored over 44,000 pages. We are thrilled with these numbers and look forward to even more healthcare professionals discovering and referencing the site in 2022.

As always, you can help spread the word about this important initiative on your professional social media networks, within your hospital’s communications or directly to your surgical colleagues via word-of-mouth. Please reach out to us if you have any questions or ideas on how to promote SolvingPain.ca.

An extra big “thanks!” goes out to Dr. Hance Clarke, Dr. Claude Laflamme and Dr. Colin J.L. McCartney, for their official endorsement of the Perioperative Pain Management Pathway.

We also need to recognize our volunteer-based Action Group. Led by Dr. David Neilipovitz and Dr. Collin Clarke, the Action Group was vital to nearly every aspect of SolvingPain.ca. Their hours of dedication to this project—in the middle of a pandemic at that—just shows their impressive professionalism and commitment to improving their patients’ lives. The key members of our Action Group include:
